week 4 | soothing repetitions

malcolm had a tough day yesterday.  a really big, hurt feelings kind of day.  and in my attempt to soothe this awful day, i took him with me to get milk.  but we got side tracked by the sunset.  an amazing sunset.  and we talked, and laughed, and calmed down a littled.  and then we got milk and a cookie.  and some candy.  so when i see this sunset, i'll remember the soothing repetition of motherhood.

and maybe the fact that i am the cause of his obsession with food.
