week 8 | the view from here

I had SO much fun with the theme this week!!  I think I took pictures every day.  So it was hard to choose just one.  I asked Laurel for her help.

week 7 | open your heart . . .

during our pajama-clad walk into the ditch, Becca pointed out this heart shaped rock.  And we both figured it was great for this week's theme.  Thanks, Becca!

week 6 | words...

several weeks ago, Aubrey and I were at odds.  for several days in a row.  and it all came to a head one night.  She was banished to her bedroom, and she sent Dana down with several notes ~ covering everything from "when can I come out" to "I hate you" to "I love you."  this one I kept.  I have it hanging at my desk at work.  I need to remember these words, and take them to heart.

week 5 | muse

this week:
     i was crazy busy with work
     our family (5/6ths of us) was flattened by the flu
     the weather was less than cooperative on the one day that i could have taken photos

and so this is a lame representation of my muse.  that would be my photographic muse.  i like to take pictures from odd angles, maybe closer than you might expect.

and while it's a fine picture, i wish i'd been able to use this  photo instead...because every time i see it, i want to grab my camera and take more photos.  hence, this photo is my muse:
